It's about time

I would like to welcome you to my blog.  It's my intention to jump into the  fray with yet another design blog with a bit of this and that.  I love to decorate my home and really need to do it on the CHEAP!  I hope you will enjoy taking a look at some of the projects I have done and the many I have started and not yet finished planned for the future.

 Let me introduce myself....My name is Trissa and I'm a mom to many children.  If I told you that we have NINE children, your response may be something like this....

"OMG!  Are you from Utah?  How many "sister wives" do you have?" 

Yes, I do live in Utah but I am the only one married to my wonderful husband.  We've just collected children from our previous relationships and even if we didn't contribute our DNA to these darlings...we just don't let them go.  I came into our marriage with four children, as did he.  Simple math makes that eight kids.  I figured that we were at our limit medically speaking.  Then four years ago, I received a phone call that brought us a new daughter.  She fit in perfectly within the family.  We had a large gap between our 18 year old and the 7 year old.  So we adopted a sweet 12 year old girl.  Most of our children are grown and live on their own but it's craziness when we can get even a few of them together at the same time.
